The Bot posts real-time merch drop alerts into a channel a server admin points it at. Each alert is an embed with the product name, image, price, the store it came from, and a link out to the store. The Bot also replies to a small set of slash commands (/dropify status, /dropify setup, /dropify uninstall) for configuration and health checks. It does not send DMs to members unless a member explicitly opts in via a slash command they ran themselves.

Server admins are responsible for where they place the Bot. Do not run it in channels whose audience is known to include users under 13 (or under the higher threshold set by your local law). Do not build a commercial resale workflow on top of the Bot — the alert stream is for fans tracking their own purchases, not for bulk reselling. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or rebroadcast the alert feed outside the server it was delivered to. Do not use the Bot to harass, spam, or otherwise violate Discord's Community Guidelines or Developer Terms.

The Bot reads only public Discord metadata it needs to function: the server (guild) id, the channel id and channel name where it is configured to post, and the rough server member count used for the /dropify status reply. The Bot does not request the message content intent, does not read messages posted by other users, does not read DMs, does not access voice channels, and does not look at member presence, roles, or profile data beyond what is required to verify that the invoking user has permission to run a configuration command.

The Bot writes only the drop alert embeds it is configured to post, occasional replies to its own slash commands (status, setup confirmation, uninstall confirmation), and ephemeral error responses visible only to the invoking user. It does not post on behalf of any human, does not ping @everyone or @here unless a server admin has explicitly enabled mention-on-drop in setup, and does not edit or delete messages it did not post itself.

A server admin can remove the Bot at any time by running /dropify uninstall in the server, by kicking the Bot from the member list, or by revoking the Bot's authorization from the server integrations page. Once removed, the Bot stops posting immediately. Configuration tied to that server (channel id, alert preferences, store subscriptions) is purged from our database within 30 days. If a member opted into DMs, that opt-in is also revoked when the Bot leaves the server.

The Bot is provided as-is. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery of alerts; Discord rate limits, store outages, and ordinary maintenance can cause delays or gaps. We may update the Bot's commands and behavior over time. Material changes to these terms will be posted to this page with a new "Last updated" date, and where a change reduces a server admin's rights we will give at least 30 days notice through the dashboard or by an in-server notice from the Bot.
